Tassel Cardigan

As previously mentioned I brought a few items from the lovely Sue Ryder store in Forrest Hill last week and this post is about a pretty tassel cardigan which I picked up:

£8.95, Sue Ryder

I am in love with this Cardigan, it is the warmest, comfiest thing ever! I have a lot of deadlines on at the moment, and this is great for throwing on to go to the library or to study. With all the lovely weather we have been having at the moment this keeps me perfectly warm on its own, so I can leave my coat at home! I really like the way it falls like a scarf and also the tassels, tassels seem to be on trend at the moment especially with the festival/folk look that can be spotted in many high street stores. I will definitely be taking this to any festivals this summer.

Floral Patterned Shirt

This is the first post about some lovely items that I brought from Sue Ryder in Forrest Hill (South East London) this weekend. The first buy is a floral, vintage, patterned shirt, I am over the moon with this buy! I think it is a one off piece, as I didn't recognise the brand which I normally view as a good thing, as its means you are more likely not to see everyone else wearing it. In general I think that charity shops are great places if you want an individual unique look, and I think it's great to have wardrobe which is different from everyone else.

So here it is:

£6.95

Floral Dress

Shirt- H&M
Dress- Urban Outfitters
Shoes-Topshop

Bargain of the outfit: Urban Outfitters Dress

I picked this dress up in the Urban Outfitters sale for just under £20, I was pretty happy with this buy as originally the dress was £42. I think that this is great for the summer although at the moment I'm wearing it as a pinafore dress. I love the pinafore look, as not only does it look nice but it's also so practical. It means that you can wear all your summery dresses and still stay warm. Also the chunky sandal shoes are going to be great for the summer, I always wear thick tights or socks to keep my feet warm at the moment but in the summer I can wear them just as sandals, which saves me having to buy some more summer shoes. I really like having clothes and shoes that I can wear all year around as I think it's better value for money.

Hopefully it wont be too long until I can wear a summer version of this outfit, yippee!

Emma Dilemma

FARA Jumper

Jumper- FARA charity shop
T-shirt, joni jeans and hat- Topshop
Hooped earrings- Carrie Elspeth

Bargain of the outfit : FARA Jumper

Incase you haven't already read my blog post about the jumper, it was originally from Urban Outfitters and I picked it up for £12 in FARA charity shop, a definate bargain!

I know I'm not supposed to have two bargains of the outfit, but the hat was also a great buy at £5, it was from the Topshop sale and was orignally £12. I find that this time of the year is a great time to buy hats and winter essentials as we still have a few cold months to go and all the shops have great sale on these items. Also come october (yes, it's only 6 months away) you'll be back in your coat and wooly hats again. Hats are great at keeping you warm too, as well as hats I am really into hooped earrings at the moment (as long at they are not to heavy). The ones I am wearing are from  Carrie Elspeth and are lovely to wear, they are silver so don't irritate my ears and are just so light. I think hooped earrings are so versatile to as you can wear them in the day or on a night out.

Fine Knit Jumper

Shirt, Necklace and Jumper- H&M
Trousers- Topshop

Bargain of the outfit: Fine Knit Jumper

I brought this jumper a couple of weeks ago from H&M, at full price it was £12.99 but that week they had a special discount offer with UNiDAYS where they were offering 20% of all items in store. So I picked it up for a reasonable £10.39. UNiDAYS are great for any students out there, it's free to sign up (as long as you are a student) and offer lots of discount off various stores. It means that you never have to pay full price for anything, yipee!

Hope you enjoyed my first outfit of the day.

Change

After 6 months of blogging my blog has changed and adapted a lot. I have really enjoyed blogging, but I feel that more change is needed. Lately I have been very busy with my third year of University (no excuses) but I'm looking for a way to blog more to keep myself and readers more engaged in a way that fits around my time. So, I have decided to add some #OOTD or #TIW post's to my blog. All of you fashion bloggers out there I am sure are very familiar with these hashtags,  but for any of you who are not #OOTD stands for Outfit of the Day and #TIW stands for Today I'm Wearing. When incorporated into blogs they are great way to get fashion inspiration which is something I have taken from these posts when reading fashion blogs over the past few months. I have decided to create my own posts, as I thought it would be a great way to put some of my charity shop finds and and bargains into context. I hope you enjoy my future outfits of the day and also a daily quote too!
